Event Doctors was started by Dr. Ewoudt van der Linde - current team doctor of The Sharks - to provide specialist medical and emergency services at sporting, corporate or other social events.

All doctors working for us:
Have Sports Medicine Experience
Are registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa
Have medical indemnity insurance (MPS)
Have passed Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) courses.
Have experience in Hospital Care & Event Medical Care
With ACLS, ATLS and PALS qualified doctors we can handle any emergency optimally. We also have the necessary referring hospitals/support systems available for specialist care when needed as soon as possible. All our medical personnel are also covered with the Medical Protection Society (MPS).
We have all emergency equipment (including AED's - Automated External Defibrillator) and medication available to cover any event.
